Update on journal organization

Yesterday I updated the fic sticky post. I created three new sticky pages (but I haven't linked via fake cut to the House of the Dragon one yet, because there's nothing there) and put fake cuts on the sticky post. I also updated the piss!verse 2.0 sticky so it (at last!) has the finale on it. And I added links to a SPN fic to the main SamnDean sticky. I think that's everything? I do have a HotD fic posted on AO3 that I want to post here too, and when I do, I'll link it and make the sticky available.

...that I have a completed with almost-completed sequel Supernatural fic in my Docs. Also that it's been more than five years since I posted the piss!verse 2.0 finale... yet I forgot to link it on the sticky! Oops... hopefully I should have that fixed soon (how many people have I accidentally cockblocked in the meantime?). I'm considering either trying to finish that sequel, or just posting the first part and then posting the rest unfinished. It's not a fandom I've been in for a long time, soooo...

I'd post a poll here but I'm too lazy. But! I'm not dead! Anyone else on my flist still knocking about Dreamwidth in 2026?

Also... anyone who is, you should expect more Matt Smith spam. And probably fics cross-posted here that are either Doctor Who or House of the Dragon.

And the ending for Amy and Rory makes me sad. I can't help thinking, though, that the Doctor never seems to really realize that he is always going to outlive his friends. :(

It blew through here (CT) on August 4 (my sister's birthday!) and did a LOT of damage, and knocked out my power for more than twenty-four hours. No internet and my phone had no wireless signal either, so it was pretty depressing. My parents lost power too, for slightly longer than I did. But it came back last night around 9, so that was awesome. Less awesome is the fact that I needed to write this month for a challenge (gywo August mid-year marathon) and I couldn't write at all for all that time. Anyway, I'm back (as if anyone noticed I was gone, I update so infrequently! lol) but I don't feel like writing today. I want to read all these books I have hanging around.

Same Sex Magic [working title] novel - revision

I finished the first pass of revising my lesbian fantasy romance novel! I've never tried to revise a novel before. By the time I finished re-reading (and making notes and such) I had over 100K. I think it needs a few more scenes and of course plot holes etc. need to be fixed, but it was such a thrill to read The End for the second time! (The first, of course, being when I finished writing. Which was three years ago. lol)

I'm so excited! I wanna tag lassarina here for helping me; she won't see this, but she was a HUGE motivator to getting started on the revision process. I've never known how to go about it before, and she gave me a starting point and suggestions I thought could actually work for me. (And if you, by some miracle, wander to my little corner of the internet and see this, THANK YOU.)

Second pass to come shortly, I think, but now I'm going to take the rest of today off and read a novel that's not my own. :P
